Model Portraits with the Fujifilm X-T1 and 56mm F1.2 Lens

A couple of days ago I went out for a model shoot with my Fujifilm X-T1 coupled with the 56mm F1.2 lens attached. Both the camera and my model Jane were a pleasure to work with. I have been using the Fujifilm X-T1 alongside my larger Nikon and Canon SLRs at more and more weddings. It is a very light weight piece of kit. The big plus with Fuji cameras is the built in Astia, Velvia and black and white filter simulations. These were mostly shot as Astia.

  2. Hi, It was a while ago but I was shooting in JPG mode. It is likely I retouched the highlight and shadow areas on some of the images but unlikely the colours as I like the Astia look from camera. However the Black and white photos were converted post shoot. I rarely shoot BW in camera, preferring to adjust later.
